Deborah Anne Brown, 75, Ponca City, OK, passed away July 10, 2024, in Ponca City, OK.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, 7/22/2024 at Blackwell First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Josy Busby officiating.
Deborah Anne Eggert was born on 10/9/1948 to Hazel and Wilford Eggert in Detroit, Michigan. She grew up in Indiana and Ohio before moving to Bartlesville, OK to finish out school. She graduated high school at College High School in Bartlesville, OK in 1967. After high school, she attended Oklahoma State University for clothing design.
On November 17, 1980, Deborah married Thomas L Brown in Miami, OK. The couple made their home in Arkansas City, KS. Deborah worked for Walmart/K-Mart for many years in retail. Debbe loved to sew and crochet. Debbe enjoyed watching soap operas. She couldn’t wait to see what happened on Days of Our Lives. She also loved Facetiming or Messenger video calling people. She loved to talk on the phone to her friends and family. You knew she was done talking when she said bye and hung up. It didn’t matter if the other person had said bye or not when she was done, she was done. Deborah loved to watch TV, from westerns to WWE.
Survivors include her daughter Lori Mundy of New Bloomfield, MO; sons Thomas C. “TC” Brown of Newkirk, OK; and Brian Brown of Tonkawa, OK; Sister Susan Rensner of Elgin, IL; Brother Randy Eggert and wife Paula of Sand Springs, OK; 12 Grandchildren, many Great Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be missed by the entire family.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Thomas.
Donations can be made in Deborah’s honor to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 445 Fairview Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
