Chamber Sets Annual Banquet, Opens Voting for Community Awards
January 14, 2026
Plans are underway for the Blackwell Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Chamber Banquet and Awards Celebration, set for Thursday, Feb. 12, with a festive Mardi Gras theme.
The evening will begin with a reception hosted by RCB Bank from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by the banquet at 6:30 p.m. Chamber officials note the date reflects a change from the original “Save the Date” announcement in order to avoid a conflict with another large community event.
Tickets for the banquet are $50 per seat, with tables seating six available for $300. Tickets may be purchased online or by contacting the Chamber office at 580-363-4195. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Chamber office and local banks beginning next week.
In conjunction with the banquet, voting has opened for the Chamber’s annual awards, which recognize individuals and businesses for their service, leadership, and impact on the Blackwell community.
The Citizen of the Year Award honors an individual who has made a remarkable impact through selfless service, leadership, and dedication, exemplifying the spirit of volunteerism and civic engagement. Nominations require a written explanation.

The I Am Blackwell Award is presented to an individual, past or present, who is notably influential in their role and deeply dedicated to the community.
