Homecoming Open House will allow residents to check out new Blackwell High School

Homecoming guests, and residents in general, are being welcomed by Blackwell Public Schools to an open house and tour of the newly renovated Blackwell High School on Homecoming weekend.
On Friday, September 27, there will be a ribbon cutting with the Blackwell Area Chamber of Commerce at 9:45 a.m. at Blackwell High School before the Alumni Coffee at 10 a.m.
“We welcome everyone to attend the ribbon cutting,” said Superintendent Shawn Haskins, “we want everyone to celebrate with us as we officially complete this renovation that the community supported.”
There will be a balloon arch for photo opportunities at the high school as well.
On Saturday, September 28 there will be an open house from 9 a.m. - Noon at Blackwell High School so that the public who can’t make it Friday morning can walk around and see the facility.
“We are going to open the building up so that the public can see their tax dollars at work,” said Haskins.
